been reported to mainly occur in patients with carcinoma of the lung and esophagus. TEF is an uncommon complication of leukemia and lymphoma. Aspergillus has newly emerged at a leading cause of death due to infectious fungal organisms in the immunocompromised host (1). Aspergillus bronchitis is a relatively indolent process that is typically diagnosed only on autopsy (2). We report here on a case of TEF that evolved in a patient during chemotherapy for acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).
